Scholarships Available for Peer Certification

Scholarships are now available for persons seeking certification under the grandparenting process. The grandparenting process is a mechanism in which peers from the existing workforce that have met grandparenting requirements, may apply for certification, based on training and work experience.
The scholarships for grandparenting are open May 2, 2022 through July 31, 2022, or until scholarships have been depleted.
You must be on the "list" of peers that your County submitted to DHCS. Reach out to your County MHSA Coordinator or designated staff to ensure you are on your county's list.
Our current understanding is that the scholarship application is part of the certification application.
